Review Summary: Sonic boom
Review: The Sonic Boom performs as advertised. It has an easily tuned alarm that goes from a normal alarm; to a loud alarm; to an instant awake alarm. Using the alarm with the vibrating puck it is almost a guarantee to get up the soundest sleepers. For days when I need to get up without waking my wife, I silence the alarm and just use the vibrating puck. Otherwise this alarm would wake me from a coma. I am going to buy one for my college bound niece who is getting used to sleeping in this summer.

The deliver was on time and may have acutally been a day early. Thanks for the great service.

Review: Very loud alarm tone. I put the vibrating puck in the pillowcase towards the back and up against the headboard and it rattles very loudly. I wake up as soon as it goes off. I use to sleep through anything. I have not had any problems or the time drift mentioned.

Review Summary: Sonic Wake-up
Review: Well, I really enjoy the alarm clock and it has most of the features that I love from the more expensive clock it is lacking one critical item in my opinion. There is no test button on this version. There is no way to know what volume or pitch you are going to wake up to in the morning without resetting the alarm to go off at a time close to actual time and then adjusting. If it gets bumped, well, you are out of log.

I must say though that the vibrator and flashing alert lights are very effective for getting me out of bed. ;)

Review: i purchased this for my son. the expression "sleeps like a rock" for him would be "sleeps like mount rushmore". he's a professional firefighter and has to make sure he can wake up for/at work. it works amazingly. if the adjustable volumn blaring siren and blinking lights don't do the trick, the vibrating 'pod' that he places under his pillow definitely will. this is a great product for any heavy sleeper or hard of hearing person.
